Founded in 2003 in Winter Park, Florida, and now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Lawler Design Studio has spent more than two decades creating interiors defined by beauty, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place. At the heart of our work is collaboration—with our clients and with the architects, builders, artisans, and craftspeople who help bring each vision to life.

Our approach begins with interior architecture. We consider the elements that give a home its character—proportion, millwork, custom cabinetry, architectural details, materials, and finishes—before layering in furnishings, lighting, art, and objects that make a space feel collected and personal. Rather than designing toward a particular style, we seek to understand the story of each home and the people who inhabit it. From historically inspired residences to modern new construction, every project is approached with curiosity, intention, and respect for its unique character.We believe the spaces we inhabit have a profound influence on how we feel, live, and connect. For us, wellness in design goes beyond aesthetics.
